Darkness, waiting for the snow

It’s three o’clock and it’s completely dark outside. After a bright summer it feels a little strange to have such few hours of daylight left. No wonder most Swedes have decorated their houses with Christmas lights and put electrical candles before their windows and lights in their garden. Christmas is approaching and magazines, television ads, Christmas fairs, shops, everything seems to get crazy to get you in a Christmas mood: there’s simply no escape. But outside it’s still too dark and warm for the one thing that will really lighten up the world outside: snow!
