Welcome to the "Cabins in the Woods Photo Contest Winter 2024"! From December 2023 to the end of March 2024, we invite photographers and nature enthusiasts to participate in this unique competition to capture the beauty, soul, and human touch of our Cabins in the Woods. We want to highlight the inviting ambience, snug charm, and distinctive human touch of the Supermåne and the Oddis Öga. Whether you're a professional photographer or enjoy capturing special moments, this challenge is for you!
How to Participate:
- Book your stay using the booking code: Contest Winter 2024.
- Capture stunning photos of the Oddis Öga and the Supermåne, our Cabins in the Woods, during your stay at Näsets Marcusgård.
- Share your photos on your own social media channels using the hashtag #WinterCabinVibes and tag us (@NMarcusgard) so we can find your images.
- Please send us your photos (max. 2, high-resolution) at [email protected]. These photos will participate, and we will evaluate them.
Prize Information:
Each participant will receive a personal message after the competition and a jury report of the submitted photo by April 21.
- First Prize: A complimentary weekend stay in one of our forest cabins (two nights on a half-board basis for two persons) and special recognition on our website and social media.
- Second Prize: A complimentary stay in one of our forest cabins (one night based on half-board, for two people) and special recognition on our website and social media.
Terms and Conditions:
- Book your stay in one of the Cabins in the Woods (Oddis Öga or Supermåne); use the booking code: Contest Winter 2024 (your stay will be 2.250kr instead of 2.995kr or 3.295kr). Breakfast, bed linen and towels are included as always, and use of the wilderness sauna is also free of charge.
- Photos must be original and taken during the specified period.
- Use the hashtag #WinterCabinVibes and tag us (@NMarcusgard) when sharing your photos on social media.
- Please send us your photos (max. 2, high-resolution) at [email protected]. These photos will participate, and we will evaluate them.
- By participating, you grant permission to share your photos on our social media channels and website, with proper attribution to the photographer.

Jury:
Johan Seijbel:
Johan Seijbel is a professional international photographer from Maurik, the Netherlands and our highly regarded in-house photographer. He specialises in corporate, portrait and (outdoor) marketing photography and has a strong foothold in the recreational and tourism market. Seijbel works both indoors and outdoors, in studios and on location. He has a passion for capturing the beauty of the world around him. Seijbel started professional photography seven years ago and has been working in 13 different countries for a variety of clients. He was soon fascinated by photography's ability to tell stories and convey emotions. Seijbel's work has been published in several magazines, websites and he just launched his first coffee table book. He loves to share his passion for photography at workshops or events. Seijbel is a talented photographer with a unique vision. His photos are often breathtakingly beautiful, full of colour and capture the imagination.

Mireille & Willem:
