The Fähus is a unique and flexible accommodation, perfect for those traveling solo, as a couple, or as a group of up to 8 people.
The holiday home features a large furnished veranda with a luxury BBQ and has views of the forest. The holiday accommodation is located in the converted former barn of our farm. The ground floor features exceptional modern art created by artists who took inspiration from their trip. The icing on the cake is a system for growing vegetables indoors and a record player with LPs.
Ground floor
There is an entrance hall with space for your coats and shoes and a staircase to the first floor, a bright and spacious open area with a work area, dining room, and open kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, oven and four burners. The sitting room features a wood stove, TV, Blu-ray/DVD player, and a sound system with Bluetooth capabilities. The bathroom features a shower, hair dryer, and toilet, as well as access to an adjoining laundry room equipped with a washing machine and dryer.
First floor
Three large bedrooms: one with a bunk bed for three people (120 x 200 + 90 x 200) and one with a double bed (140 x 200) and a bunk bed for two people (2 x 90 x 200), and one bedroom with two single beds (2 x 90 x 200), in the open corridor there is a bunk bed for three people and a toilet.
The apartment has a limited supply of basic foodstuffs, including salt, pepper, cooking oil, sugar, toilet paper, and dishwashing liquid. Feel free to use them and replenish them when they are empty.
Bed linen, towels and tea towels are included in this apartment. Smoking and pets are not allowed.
Bookings for accommodation only can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival for any reason.

Signature Forest Experiences in Central Sweden
Guests staying in The Hölada or The Fähus at Näsets Marcusgård in Central Sweden can, if desired, deepen their stay by adding the optional Premium Experience supplement.
The experience provides access to our Signature Experiences of the Forest and includes a private, fire-started sauna session per day—a tranquil, wood-fired sauna experience in the heart of nature.
During your stay, you will encounter simple, quiet invitations naturally woven into the forest landscape around the farm. These are small moments in nature, created for calmness, presence, and recovery, which you can explore at your own pace. Most experiences are self-guided and take between 10 and 45 minutes. Upon arrival, you will receive a simple map showing where these spots are located.
There is no fixed schedule and no expectations. Every moment changes with light, weather, and season—just like the forest in Sweden does. Everything here follows the rhythm of nature. You are welcome to do the same.
Price: 1.250 SEK per stay
Additional sauna times may sometimes be offered depending on availability and wood capacity. The sauna is at its most atmospheric during the colder months of the year.

Whether you are a solo traveller or a couple seeking peace, The Fähus offers the perfect base. Enjoy a large, bright, and comfortable space with the forest around the corner. The house has cosy extras such as a wood-burning stove, books, games, a record player, and comfy beds for deep recovery.
The entire Fähuset, for yourself or for the two of you, includes bed linen, towels, and breakfast, and you can use the wilderness sauna for free. Even "bing watching" or telecommuting is no problem, the internet is available!
Bookings with a stay on weekdays (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday). A booking with accommodation at this price is not possible on official Swedish holidays (red days) or in June, July or August.
