Oddis Öga – A distinctive design stay among Sweden’s tall pines
The Oddis Öga looks a bit like an aeroplane part, a spaceship... what it looks like ... you can decide for yourself. It is, in any case, a forest hut. The Cabin in the Woods is inspired by the principles of modern space design, with an emphasis on lightweight, robustness and portability. Do you like something unique and beautiful? Then this one is something for you.
A treehouse on a hill among the trees. We call it: Oddis Öga, Swedish for the eye of the oddity, because you can peek out through it so well, and it is a bit odd. The forest hut is partly placed on a hill, surrounded by high pine trees, with underfloor heating and a wood stove.
The view? The former meadow of the farm, where we have often spotted wild animals such as elk, deer, foxes, and a lynx... who knows, you can extend the list soon.
In the Oddis Öga, you can stay with four people; the cabin in the woods is a lovely space for glamping. Bed linen and towels are included. During the cold seasons, you have breakfast and can cook in our Hölada's kitchen, a few minutes away from your cabin. Your tasty and simple breakfast and ingredients for an evening meal you take with you are included. In the Hölada, you also find a shower, toilet, and a living room with Wi-Fi that you share with others. You can borrow books and games from the bookcase. In the warm months, you make use of outdoor facilities.
