FAQ – Forest Bundles
1. Do I need experience with outdoor activities or nature?
No. Most of our Forest Bundles are suitable for all levels — even if you have little experience with hiking, outdoor life or winter conditions. We offer both calm, self-guided forest moments and guided tours with experienced nature and wilderness guides. Each Forest Bundle clearly explains what to expect.
2. Is all equipment included?
For many guided Forest Bundles, we provide all essential equipment, including snowshoes, warm sleeping bags, headlamps, and safety gear. For self-guided moments, you may need to bring a few basics yourself (like sturdy footwear or warm clothing). Everything included is clearly listed for each Forest Bundle.
3. Where do the Forest Bundles start?
All Forest Bundles start at Näsets Marcusgård, in Furudal, Dalarna (Sweden). From here, we run our own activities and collaborate with local guides, including Särna Adventures. Some bundles also offer transfer from Rättvik (train connection from Stockholm).
4. Can I combine a Forest Bundle with an overnight stay?
Yes, absolutely. Almost all Forest Bundles can be combined with a stay in one of our unique accommodations: Oddis Öga, Supermåne, Fähus or Hölada. Many bundles offer a complete “stay + experience” concept, so you don’t have to plan anything yourself.
5. How do I book a Forest Bundle?
