Your cosy Cabin in the Woods

The Supermåne borrows its design from the aviation industry, utilising steamed ash, aluminium, and lightweight insulation to create a sanctuary within the trees. The treehouse is fully insulated and features a cosy, fireproof wood stove and underfloor heating, ensuring you stay warm and comfortable in all seasons. It's equipped with soft foam mattresses, a double bed, and a single bed that cleverly folds into a sofa during the day, making it ideal for two adults and a child.

You’ll have access to the wood-fired wilderness sauna and the Forest Screen in our woodshed – a quiet space where the forest itself becomes the film.

Warm season (June - October)

Embrace the outdoor lifestyle with your dedicated facilities, just a few steps from your treehouse retreat.

• Outdoor kitchen: A charming, covered kitchen area invites you to prepare simple meals in the fresh air. It includes a BBQ, a coffee machine, a kettle, and a refrigerator.
• Private bathroom: For your convenience, a private, lockable bathroom is located in our dedicated bathroom cabin, just a short walk away. It is equipped with a hot shower, a modern toilet, and a sink.

Cold season (November - May)

As the air turns crisp, your comfort is guaranteed with access to our cosy, indoor facilities.

• Fully-equipped kitchen: A short, pleasant walk leads you to the shared kitchen in our beautifully converted Hölada holiday home. It's fully equipped with an electric stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator for all your culinary needs.
• Warm bathroom: A warm and comfortable bathroom with a hot shower, toilet, and sink is also located inside the Hölada barn, ensuring you feel cosy throughout your stay.

As a guest in Supermåne or Oddis Öga, you not only get access to our wilderness sauna, but you’re also welcome to enjoy our special outdoor cinema in the woodshed — the Forest Screen.

The Keep Calm cabin, the Supermåne for two people, for a budget-friendly, cosy everyday life. For those of you who feel burnt out by everyday stress and hustle and bustle without it costing you your shirt. We take time for you as usual, sometimes the purple extra is needed!

The stay includes bed linen, towels and breakfast, and the use of the wilderness sauna is free of charge.

Bookings with stay on weekdays (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday). A booking with accommodation at this price is not possible on official Swedish holidays (red days) or in June, July or August.

How warm is the Supermåne in winter?

The treehouse stays pleasantly warm throughout the colder months. It is fully insulated and equipped with modern underbed heating and a safe wood-burning stove. Firewood is provided. On freezing nights, we offer extra-warm sleeping bags to ensure a comfortable and cosy sleep.

Is there electricity and Wi-Fi in the treehouse?

Yes, the Supermåne has electricity for lighting and charging small devices. To support a slow and more nature-focused experience, Wi-Fi is available in our shared guest lounge in the Hölada or Fähus, but not inside the treehouse itself.

What are the real chances of seeing the Northern Lights?

From September to March, there is a chance of seeing the Northern Lights thanks to our dark skies and remote location. Weather, clouds and snowfall can affect visibility, and the dome window may sometimes be covered in snow or condensation. If conditions are favourable, the open fields around the farm often offer the clearest view — but sightings can never be guaranteed.

Is the accommodation suitable for children?

Yes, the Supermåne can comfortably host two adults and one child. Access is via a staircase, so we trust parents to decide whether the height and layout feel appropriate for their family.

What should we pack for our stay?

We provide all bedding, towels and breakfast. We recommend packing in backpacks or smaller bags for easier access in the forest.

For the colder season (October–April), please bring:

• sturdy shoes or winter boots for snow and ice
• warm clothing in layers
• warm sleepwear
• a hat for the coldest nights, especially when moving between buildings

Extra-warm sleeping bags are available upon request during extreme cold.
