What is The Dream-in-a-box tent? A camping tent that is made entirely of cardboard, designed by the inspiring Dutch company Kar tent.
Cardboard hmmm, what if it rains? No worries: the cardboard tent is completely waterproof for up to a couple of days. The Dream-in-a-box is made entirely out of un-coated and thick cardboard providing a structural strength not found in a standard tent. If you doubt this, check out this ultimate test. If the weather is too bad, you just lift up your tent and carry it under a roof. We have several options.
The cardboard allows for easy recycling of your tent. After your stay, the tent can go directly to the paper recycling industry so that they can re-use your tent to make toilet paper, books, shoe boxes or other useful things!
Other advantages: If the Swedish summer nights are to light and sunny for you: the cardboard material blocks the sunlight, which keeps your tent dark and cool! You don’t need a huge pile of luggage either if you book our tents: We set it up for you and bed and bedding is included. Want to change your camping spot? Just lift it up and carry it to where you like it more. You are even allowed to pimp your tent: be creative!
